WHEN I'M BACK IN CHICAGO, I FEEL IT

3 jam yang lalu Derrick Rose baru aja ngumumin pensiun dari NBA. No one saw this coming.

Jujur padahal DRose ini salah satu pemain yang aku udah gak sabar untuk nonton musim ini. Alasan awalnya cukup unik lol. Beberapa bulan lalu kan lagu End of Beginning - Djo VIRAL BANGET di tiktok / IG. Kayak banyak banget yang bikin konten pake lagu ini. Terus penggalan liriknya kan ada yang begini kan :

            And when I'm back in Chicago, I feel it            Another version of me, I was in it
            
            You take the man out of the city, not the city out the man

Nah karena DRose dari Chicago Bulls, jadilah banyak juga fans NBA yang bikinin konten tentang DRose pake lagu ini. Lewat donggg di feed saya. Saya tonton lah. Eh terus kok menarik orang ini. Siapa dia? Berhubung aku baru nonton NBA di Jan 2023 dan di waktu itu cuma tau segelintir nama doang kayak Jordan, Bron, Kobe, Steph jadi gak tau samsek nih Derrick Rose siapa. Gak pernah sama sekali juga liat DRose main. Tapi tapi kok ku tengok komen-komennya sepertinya pemain ini spesial...

Setelah ku cari tau, salah satu pencapaian dia yang bikin aku langsung bilang "Ok, talent kayak gini langka. Orang ini spesial." adalah at just 22 years old, he was the youngest MVP in NBA history.

2011 - NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) - and the youngest ever!!

Kayak.. 2009 dia masih anak baru nih, rookie. Tapi terus cuma dalam 2 tahun udah jadi MVP liga??? Dan padahal di tahun 2011 itu dia main bareng Prime Kobe, Lebron, KD, Dirk, like, HOW????? 😱

That's only because he's a very, very rare talent and different breed I'd say.

Dari penemuan ku itu, langsung gak sabar dong aku pengen lebih merhatiin DRose di musim berikutnya. Yaa walaupun masa-masa emas DRose udah lewat juga sih, dan dia udah gak di Chicago Bulls lagi. Tapi kan very special and rare talent gini pasti masih keliatan banget. EHH, hari ini dia malah ngumumin pensiun 😭 

Aku sedih banget banget lagi-lagi kelewat talent langka 😭😭😭😭😭

For  another context : aku kelewat gak pernah nonton Kobe Bryant main tuh sedih banget lho. Apalagi setelah tau betapa gila Mamba Mentality dia dan betapa dia disayang penggemar karena itu, astaga w sedih bukan main. Sampe di titik kalo bisa ngulang waktu tuh aku pengen banget ngikutin karir Kobe.. EHHH kejadian lagi sama DRose... Kelewat gak pernah liat DRose main sama sekali..... Sedih. Banget.

Menariknya kalo dipikir-pikir lagi, aku bisa ngerasa gini tuh artinya sekarang ini aku adalah pure fans basket. Bukan fanatik fans 1 pemain doang kayak fans Steph Curry doang gitu misal. Soalnya ketinggalan momen-momen emas di basket NBA ini tuh kok ada banget rasa sedihnya.......... 😭

Beda banget sama dulu era nonton Roger Federer 2013-2022 tuh aku 100% fix fanatik Federer sampe kalo ada petenis manapun, siapapun itu, achieve sesuatu pencapaian yang langka aku bodo amat. Gak setitik pun merasa missing out wkwkwk 

Menarik ya bisa beda gitu caraku menikmati tontonan olahraga ku sekarang :)

Walaupun sedih banget banget I'm missing out big time, twice even 😭 tapi yaa entah ya mungkin emang harus gini aja jalannya di setting Allah. Jadi lah sekarang ini setiap ada momen-momen langka yang menarik di NBA aku gak mau kelewatan lagi. w udah fix 100% fans basket NBA, bukan fanatik fans 1 pemain doang huhu seruu 💖

THINGS I INVEST IN 2017

I've been reading many articles that talk about investing in our twenties and why it's important for us as a human being. Those articles have opened my eyes that I, as a 21-year-old, have not invested so much. Fortunately I'm still in my early 20s tho, so I still have time to improve and invest more.
