STEPH GILAAAAAAAAAAA
Dari awal dia udah fokus banget. Dribble-nya rapi, no turnover, eksekusi offensenya efektif semua, defense-nya juga gak main-main. Biasanya kalo dari awal pertandingan energinya udah kuat banget gitu bisa menang tuh. Tapi tetep di first half ini gue masih gak berani ngarep. Masalahnya Kings juga masih keliatan ngelawan. Bahkan skor di halftime, Kings mimpin 58-56. Takut banget.
EHH.. mulai quarter 3, STEPH MASUK ZONE! Asli. Gila banget. Semua yg gue bilang di awal : dribble rapi, no turnover, offense / defense yg efektif, semuanya kayak meningkat 1000 kali lipat di second half. GILA. Steph kayak kerasukan setan! From the look of his eyes, we know he wanted this SO BAD and he knew he'll get it! Bahkan di akhir pertandingan, Steph nyetak rekor pemain NBA pertama yg bisa cetak 50 poin di pertandingan Game 7 Playoff! Bener-bener Steph setan mode on. Gila.
Awalnya gue sempet gak mau nonton pertandingan ini gara-gara gue gak bakal kuat handle pressure nya keknya. Tapi gue pikir, dari semua pengalaman gue ngikutin Federer, kita harus berani menyaksikan kekalahan terpahit tim / pemain yg kita suka, agar kita bisa menikmati kemenangan termanis mereka. Dan game 7 tadi, gue yakin akan menjadi salah satunya (entah kekalahan terpahit atau kemenangan termanis Warriors). Jadi gue pilih tetep nonton. Damn I'm so glad I did.
I know I only watch basketball for, like, 4 months now, but I knew for sure, what Steph Curry did today, is NOT something that every athlete can do. To be able to play in a high intensity level like that, to carry all your team in your back in a very composed manner, in front of a crowd who is against you, in a brink of elimination from the Playoff and STILL managed to break new records somehow .. Man, truly legendary stuff from my man Stephen Curry.
It's not even NBA Finals yet, still a long way to go but I'm very confident this guy still have what it takes to get there.
